Amalia Deirdre McRyan (May 6th 1960, Galway, Ireland) is the older sister Cassandra McRyan and therefore the aunt of Derek and Romy McDylan.
Amalia never married or had any children and she attended Hogwarts just like her younger sister, where she was placed in Ravenclaw.
When her sister Cassandra permanently ends up in the hospital, Amalia charges her brother-in-law Pete McDylan to care for his children. When Cassandra dies in 2008, Amalia arranges together with Derek everything around the funeral.
Amalia is one of the witnesses as Derek indicates his father for mistreating and abusing his late wife and daughter.
